Today is the first day of the new semester. As expected, I saw a lot of first-year undergraduates wearing formal attires around the campus. Back in my time, I was one of them too! How embarrassing to recall my experience.
I met a lot of my course-mates and chatted with some of them. Lecture started at 8 a.m. and ended early at 10.15 a.m. since MTH3602 lecturer was not around. So, TFC and I went to Mathematics Department to meet up with our supervisor. Since there were a lot of first-year students inside his office, we chose to wait outside. An hour later, he left his office, and we approached him by telling him our intention. Anyway, he told us to consult him at 3 p.m., that is 2 hours and 10 minutes later.
Hopefully, he would be lenient, and I could have a nice experience for this Final Year Project.

i-city
I've just gone to i-city today. It was fun to be around with my friends - TKT, LSS, YSY, KKF and TLY.
Firstly, we went to carpool KKF and TLY in Sri Petaling at 7 p.m., and then we headed to our destination. At first glance, it's a tourist spot illuminated by colourful lights in the form of flora and fauna. When we reached there, it was drizzling. So, we went to have our dinner in Gasoline while waiting for the rain to stop. After dinner, we went for sight-seeing around the place - snapping pictures with friends cum admiring the scenery.
It wouldn't be fun if I were to go there alone, but with the presence of my friends, it made a whole different atmosphere. At 12 p.m., we returned home.

Final Year, First Semester - The First Day in Old Flat
Woke up at 8.30 a.m., I saw my mom preparing some food for me to bring to UPM, I went to have my shower, did my final packing, had my breakfast - Curry Wanton Noodle, prayed at the altar, waited for my father to fetch me and took off to PMJ's house to get some stuffs from her mother before leaving Teluk Intan at 10 a.m..
Circa 3 hours later, we reached Old Flat - my current hostel, outside of UPM. My dad and I took the luggage and went up to 8B. TKT wasn't around, when he was supposed to have reached few days earlier before me. I went into my room, and I was shocked to see the fan wasn't repaired! It was supposed to be repaired before we get back. What did you do during this whole semester break, house owner (aka Pig)?! I was furious, yet I could do nothing. Also, I was a little shocked to see the mess in my room. As if it was unoccupied for years. Anyway, I bothered not. I took those unwanted clothes, old mattress and bed sheet, unwanted shoes and other stuffs back home through my dad. After that, my dad went home.
I started cleaning up my room - first, boiled drinking water, put my roommate's luggage to a side, took out the beds to the living-room, put up the drawers back to the cloth container and cleaned the dusty windows, my study table, the floor, the wall as well as the door. After that, Pig came with his wife (aka Sow) telling me about the maintenance of the fan. Advising me not to turn to speed 5 because it will make the fan hot and thus short-circuited. He told me that it couldn't be helped if the weather is hot; just bear with it. WTF was that?! If turning to speed 5 will cause such a mishap, why the manufacturers went through the trouble to make that? Also, if so, all my fans in my house should have already short-circuited for a million times! That Pig kept on lecturing me until the electrician came. Since I couldn't continue cleaning my room, I cleaned the dirty kitchen. Soon, I realized that foreigner was a noob in handling the fan! Consequently, Pig fired him. Pig told me he would be back a day or two with another electrician to deal with the maintenance and left with Sow.
Okay, since they had gone, I continued cleaning my room. I mopped the floor, from room to room and finally the kitchen. Out of the blue, Pig and Sow came with another electrician and continued with the maintenance. "Oh, GREAT! I need to clean up everything again later!" I yelled in my heart furiously. I didn't bother them and continued cleaning the toilet. Then, I went to the living-room, sent my two-page complaints to CCY, HJE and KKH via text message. After a while, I noticed someone was in 19C. So, I took my key and went to 19C. KWC was there! I went in and we chatted until 5.30 p.m., that was after the Pig and Sow went home.
I continued cleaning my room and soon after, PSY phoned me - asking about the fans and her condition of her room. When everything was done, I had my bath. Then, I washed all my clothes which were kept here because there was a pungent smell. Perhaps it was due to bad air circulation inside the cloth container. Then, TKT came back, and I had my dinner. After that, TMJ asked me if I would like to have dinner via Facebook. I told him I've had my dinner. So, he asked me if I wanted to go out for a drink. Thus, I went out with him, KKF, LSS and TKT to South City Plaza's vicinity.
Then, we came back to Old Flat and I started blogging until now (2 posts for today). After posting this up, I'm going to watch my long-awaited drama - Ghost Writer. Good night!

A Day Before Leaving for UPM
Yesterday was my last day staying in my hometown (not forever la-.-..) before leaving for UPM.
In the morning, I went for a haircut, but the hairstylist was not available. So, I went to another saloon, which I've never been before. After that, I went to my father's grocery shop and had my breakfast with my mother, godmother and aunt in a stall next to my father's shop.
Then, when I went home, I saw HJE's text message: "jen jen,wanna eat bor?". I replied: "Paiseh.. Just reached home. Ady makan with yi ma gu che.. O.o i dun mind going yumcha if u insist. Lolz". He replied: "yeah,i go2 pick u up nw,". Therefore, within minutes, he arrived. There were LHS and SJS inside the car too. We went to Lana Coffee House (or is it Tea House? never mind-.-..), and I ordered my beverage while the others had their lunch. That was my first time during this semester break I had a complete Hokkien conversation in a gathering. It's fun!
Then, I went home. I surfed the net and my cousin came to my house seeking guidance in some Math topics. Then, as usual, I had my work out, bath and dinner. At 9 p.m., I went to my brother's house and then went to Gluton's Square to have my supper while dinner for my brother. It's my sis-in-law's treat! This was because I helped her translated her Bahasa Malaysia script to English. It was about MC-ing on an Australian Musical Tour event. Thanks for the treat!
Soon after, I went home, watched drama and surfed the net. Then, KTS, NWX and I chatted in MSN for quite some time, while I was busy packing some stuffs for the next day's journey. Then, I chatted with PMJ and asked her about her new relationship. She too asked my help to bring some stuffs from her house to UPM for her. After that, I had my slumber. I wonder how long did I take to fall asleep. Around 30 minutes perhaps.

An Okay Gathering
Few hours ago, I went to Georgetown White Coffee, Teluk Intan for gathering with my few of hometown buddies - LCO, KSH, KCK, KKH, HHL, LHS, NSM, TXY and LQt .
Before that, I was thinking whether I should attend the event or not. I expressed myself to NWX, SCS and KTS in Facebook message about this matter too. I told them I didn't feel like going because of different mental wavelengths that would make me isolated from others. I guess now I realized why people tend to divide their circle of friends into good, best, hi-bye and many other types of friends.
Nevertheless, I decided to call HHL and ask her if she would attend the gathering. She said okay. Thus, I went too. At 9 p.m., HHL came to fetch me, but she told me she didn't want to go. She only came to fetch me. I was like "Oh my God. What the .....". Though, NSM called her and asked her to go; so she went. (thanks NSM!! ^^)
Anyway, when we reached there, I felt like as if I were a scarecrow. This was expected from me, but my situation didn't stay long, thanks to my soft skill. (hehehe...) I joined into their conversation, but frankly speaking, it wasn't enjoyable.
Around 11 p.m., we snapped a few pictures and went home.

張芸京 (Chang Yun-jing)

st finished watching a drama via pps, and thus I've nothing to do in the evening. I surfed the net and eventually came to Youtube. I searched for 超級星光大道 (One Million Star), and then I came across 超級偶像 (Super Idol) - Year 2008. Both are televised singing competitions in Taiwan.
I listened to a couple of songs, and finally there was this one contestant grasped my attention - 張芸京 (Chang Yun-jing). She is a handsome tomboy who sings uniquely. I bet you could hardly tell that she is a girl even when she were to talk with you! Her Chinese songs are great, but not English because the pronunciation is awful. Anyway, I soon realized that 黑裙子 (Black Skirt) which is one of my favourite songs is actually her song! Well, she is crowned as the champion of Super Idol (First Season). She deserved it!

Yesternight, Tonight, Tomorrow Night
Yesternight, there was a gathering. Everyone was late. When we reached Old Town, we changed our location to AL-Fresco since we had been holding the same event at either Old Town or McD, and we are sick of those two places. We enjoyed our Singles' Gathering (that's the name we gave - CCY, KKH, NSM, HHL, LHS and I).
Tonight, my family together with my maternal grandmother went out to Sechuan Restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday in advance which falls tomorrow. The "kam hiong" crabs were okay for me as I'm not a crab-lover, but through my brother who is a crab-fanatic said it's "tok kong" (superbly delicious).
Tomorrow night, my friends and I will be going to celebrate CCY's birthday in Secret Recipe at 8 p.m.. I hope everything will go fine, and he won't read this post until then. (Lolx..)
