Malaysian Economy - boring as hell
FYP - still the same; every week comes up with new stuffs; kinda suffering

What did I do?
Nothing but staying at home alone.
Anyway, I did meet up with Karuna and Irene to have a little chat at Mamak stall that night.
Irene invited us to go to Mid Valley for the next day together with another 2 female friends of hers.
We agreed. :)
I "countdown-ed" at home alone-.-

1st January 2011
Happy New Year!
My New Year wish is to have everyone in this world to stay healthy and happy :)
I woke up at 8a.m. and prepared to go to Mid Valley with Karuna and Irene at 9.30a.m.
We boarded Rapid KL bus to KTM Serdang.
Irene's friend was there - Yan Yan.
Another girl couldn't make it; so, it's only the four of us.
I was told that despite her three-year stay in UPM, Yan Yan has never gone to Mid Valley. O.o
If I'm not mistaken, she has gone to other places, but only not Mid Valley though. LOL...
We missed two trains, DAMN!
It was packed like sardine.
Finally, for the third time, we barely made it inside the coach.
And guess what? I got into the ladies' coach for the third time in my life-.- It was so embarrassing.
We went to The Chicken Rice Shop for our lunch. The sets meal we ordered were too much for the girls. I had to help them finishing up the food-.- Yan Yan could finish up her portion though.
We then went to the North Court to take pictures of lovely Christmas decorations.
Then, Calvin, an online friend of mine, out of the blue told me that he intended to meet up with me there. So, we met up and chatted a lot. It was kinda weird. The topics of our conversation seemed dull. Anyway, it's great to have a new offline friend :) Let's meet up again next time.
I bought dried spinach 'pan mee', some vegetables and a Tropicana juice.
Then, we went home by KTM, then Rapid KL. Both are not crowded though. :)

Later at night, TCK asked me if I wanted to go to Pavilion with his gang. I agreed.
However, the plan was soon canceled due to the time constraint.
We then decided to go for dinner together with LBT.
Thanks TCK for treating me the curry puff :)

All in all, this was my greatest New Year outing I've ever had in my life.
It was a very memorable one! ^^

A New Friend ^^

Yesterday evening, I went out with SL. It's my first time meeting him in person and I was a little bashful at first, but everything came naturally later. He was my cyber friend whom I get to know through a friend of mine. We went to The Mines by his bike. First, we went to Giant to extend Joey's watch. We planned to have Pizza but there was no good promotion offered, so we went to KFC instead. We chatted to get to know each other deeper. Then, we went window shopping. That's the first time I window shopped in almost every outlet there! There was a pair of jeans which caught my eyes; so I tried it on, but it turned out not nice at all. SL who has not worn shorts for years because of the scar on his leg wanted to try to wear shorts again especially for this coming Chinese New Year. Therefore, I brought him to try on some suitable pairs of shorts. They looked nice on him, but he didn't purchase them since they weren't worthwhile for their expensive prices. I'm sure this boosted his confidence for wearing one in the near future. Then, we went to the famous roti canai stall for supper. He ordered Roti Michael Jackson, while I ordered Roti Diana. We chatted until around 1.25 a.m. before he fetched me back to Old Flat, while he alone rode back to Petaling Jaya @_@ We had a good evening, and I'm glad I've made a new friend. ^^

Christmas

Two days before I returned to Old Flat, I had a BBQ party with my hometown friends in LPK's house. It was great to be able to meet friends whom we have not met for almost a year; reminiscing our old times and joking around - just great! :D

One day before returning to Old Flat, I had "lok lok" supper with my family. It's Christmas eve! After the clock struck twelve, I started to pack my stuff to be brought to Old Flat. I was reluctant to go back to my dorm.

25th December - it's Christmas! I woke up at 6 in the morning. My brother, sis-in-law, 2 friends and I went to Sunway Pyramid. The decorations weren't pompous. There were a lot of shoppers! We shopped for our Chinese New Year attires. We then met up with sis-in-law's brother and others there. Nando's was our brunch. The extra hot peri-peri sauce was not hot at all-.-.. Around 4 p. m., I reached Old Flat, tidied up my stuffs, have a one-hour nap and went out for dinner - Sushi King and movie later at night with friends. TRON: Legacy 3D - that's my first 3D movie experience. LOL... The movie was alright. 3.5 stars out of 5 to me. The 3D spectacles wasn't that comfortable especially for me who is wearing a pair of spectacles too. @_@ Anyway, it was a good experience. We went 'yumcha' after the movie, and I slept around 5 in the morning. It was my 1st time in these 22 years to have a great outing during Christmas. Thanks, guys... ^^

3D 2N trip

Day 1
17th Dec 2010, Friday (9.30 a. m.)
My dad and I went to Kampar KTMB station. En route, we stopped by at Mambang Diawan for breakfast. The food there was nice. I've forgotten to snap the picture. Too bad :( Just the usual 'yong tofu', noodles + vermicelli and wanton noodles. We then continued our journey to Kampar, packed the car there and boarded our train around 12 p. m.. It took us 5.5 hours to reach Gemas. We had our dinner with my relatives and my MOM!!! ^^.. in a restaurant there.

Day 2
Well, I went there because there was a housewarming buffet dinner at 7 p. m. and to see the design of the new house bought by my aunt. It was renovated as well. We helped with the cleaning and arranging the furniture too. We woke up around 4.45 a. m. and brushed up. This was because we need to ''invite the Gods'' into the new house before 7 a. m.. By 7 p. m., the greatest nightmare of all happened! Our catering made a huge mistake and never turned up! The hosts of the house panicked! I was the only cool-headed one. Hahaha.. After many attempts in solving the problems, we resorted to satay and some fried food bought from another place as temporary food served for the arrived guests. By 9.20 p.m., another group of caterer came and provided food. The quantity served wasn't enough as they didn't have much time to prepare the sufficient amount we ordered. Everything went well after that. Tired....

Day 3
Woke up around 10.20 a. m., went to brush up, had my breakfast and prepared to return to hometown. We went to the Gemas KTMB station, and we were informed that our train was delayed for 20 minutes. Damn-.-.. After bidding farewell to my mom, my dad and I boarded the train. In the train, there was a man snoring so loud as if the whole coach was his-.-.. We reached Kampar around 5.40 p.m. and my dad decided to go find the famous claypot chicken rice shop for dinner. We found it! Chan Siew Heng - that's the shop name. Even the 阿贤 from the Travel with Axian went there before. Lolz..
