Let me start with the first day of the camp. All the organizing committee (JKP) were supposed to reach at the school at sharp 7am, but Xiang Yee (she fetched me and Elaine), Elaine and I arrived at 7.03am. Therefore, we rushed to the hall and guess what? We were not the only late-comers! haha..

Before 8am, the secretariats ( i prefer the word "administrators", though), who were Elaine (leader), Cheng Wei, Pei Ting, Kawai, Wei Khang, Siew Mun, Xiang Yee and I went to the basketball court and prepared for the registration for participants. After the registration, there was an opening ceremony and it was officiated by our teacher advisers. Soon after that, all the programmes were officially commenced and I personally felt quite tedious in the entire morning. When it came to lunch hour, all the participants including me were crestfallen because the "ayam" in the "nasi bungkus" was so small (perhaps, tiny) and not to mention, it was very expensive - RM2.90. The JKP were so exasperated. What happened to our quartermasters?

The programmes went on and it was still tedious for me. Around 3pm, it rained and our "Ala Komander" games were delayed to 4pm. During the game, we let out ourselves to the fullest. We played water balloons, splashed water and threw flour to one another! It was fun! Then, we cleaned up and at night we had BBQ in the car park, due to the downpour. Approximately 130 participants gathered there and we were having a good time. Day One ended at 11pm and we went home as the school authorities did not give us the green light to stay overnight in the school.

Day Two started at 7am and it was not as boring as the day before. To me, fashion show was the only highlight in Day Two. It might sound like I was not enjoying the camp, but I was not. This is because the camp was organized mainly for the participants and not for the organizing committee. Nevertheless, we, JKP had so much fun after the Day Two had ended. Let me tell you why. When all the participants had gone home at 6pm, we had our second-time BBQ as there were plenty of unfinished food (sponsored by Lee Fui Ching's husband company and others). We sang songs, played games and had BBQ until 9pm before returning home with "big and small packs (the unfinished food)". Hahaha..

...The End...
