PKU

This morning I woke up, I found my condition was getting worse. My whole body was 'heaty' and my flu was deteriorating. My eyes were fiery hot. Thus, Peter fetched me to Pusat Kesihatan UPM (PKU) and waited there for 1 hour plus. Thanks oo.. >.<.. We then went to Bao Long and bought our lunch. I had vermicelli soup. Then, I took my medicine and went to sleep. I felt a lot better after I woke up! Thanks, God! 谢天谢地~ The antibiotic is working out! Now I'm waiting for my ABC porridge prepared by Mei Shing, assisted by rice cooker.. LOLZ...

Sick!

Two days ago, I was feeling a little not well, but I kept straining myself to complete my part of the Public Speaking assignment as well as my FYP maple programming. Consequently, I was having my hard time yesterday especially at night. Having a little feverish and influenza despite consuming medicines, I couldn't have a good sleep. I was partially awakened for the whole night! Anyway, today I was feeling much better. I'm still feeling tired though. Hopefully I could fully recover by nightfall. *Finger-crossed!!!!* *Pray~~*

Vampires' Parade

Wow... It seems I haven't been here for a while now. This is because the same routines took place for these few days; thus no interesting story to be posted here. Yesterday night I was trying to sleep but I couldn't. So, I came up with an idea by creating a poem, typing using my cellphone while I was on bed. While I was typing, thinking and extracting every single ounce of memory from my brain, I fell into a deep slumber. I found out I was lying on my cellphone around 6 o'clock this morning. Lolz.. Well, this morning I had an hour of free time before MTH3302 lecture started, so I continued to complete my half-done masterpiece. Anyway, I've just completed it, and here's the poem:

~Vampires' Parade~

Joining the parade;
Vampires roam freely.

Preying on the blood;
The vampires thirst hungrily.

The Chosen One is selected;
To be baptized by vampires' fangs.

Sinking into the arteries and veins;
The vampires enjoyed.

Thus the newborn vampires arise;
Joining the parade.

Literally, it is about the process of life one has to undergo especially in this current society, where one is influenced and eventually joined the notion of others in order to be acknowledged by them.

Well, it has been a while since I last produced any masterpiece. Personally, I think it's still half-way done, but I'm just too lazy to perfect it. So, I'll leave it like this, and I hope it is still okay. Cheers! :)

Jusco Equine Park

After my outing on Thursday, I had a long sleep from 7 p. m. until 8 a. m. the next day (without taking my dinner). I guess I was pretty exhausted. Hohoho... Last Friday and Saturday were very boring to me as I spent my days in Old Flat with zero activity excluding my daily routines. An hour was like a day to me, literally.

For today, I went for a jog with Joey at 7.15 a. m. for around 45 minutes. Then, we went back to Old Flat to take wallet to go to Big Mart to buy some groceries for today's meal. We had red bean soup and some sort of wheat flour delicacy as our lunch. We were supposed to cook for our dinner, but we ended up going to Equine Park with Peter and Mei Shing to have our dinner. Then, we went to Jusco Equine Park for shopping. I spent around RM 30 for my dinner, a 'ciplak' necktie, aromatherapy items and some groceries. I wonder if it was a ripped off. Hmm...

Well, that's all for now. I'm going to do my revision for tomorrow's lecture before going to bed. Till then, see ya....

Inception

Today, I went for a movie with my friends - Peter, Mei Shing and Joey. We went to The Mines to watch Inception. It was a very interesting, thrilling and exciting movie. The 2-and-a-half-hour movie is about accessing one's mind to unveil secrets of oneself as well as 'transplanting' an idea or notion into one's mind. Going in depth from a dream to another dream makes this movie full of suspense. Moreover, the ending of the story is beyond satisfactory to me.

Well, we were supposed to watch The Sorcerer's Apprentice for the next slot, but the cinema was very cold! Thus, we decided not to continue with the plan and go for shopping instead before returning to Old Flat. I'm really looking forward to watch this magical cum fantasy film. I hope I could watch it soon!

Also, I'm going to have sandwiches as my dinner tonight. Thanks to Joey for preparing them! :) hehehe...

a fun, yet exhausting outing...

I had a wonderful outing with my hometown friends - Alvin and KTS, as well as my UPM friends - CSH, YSY, EPX and TYP in Midvalley. A million thanks to my UPM mates who accompanied me. Hehehehe...

First of all, KTS and I accompanied Alvin to go to the World of Feng Shui to buy prosperous amulet for himself, but in vain. Next, we went to the Food Court. We couldn't come up with any topic to chat initially, but eventually we caught up to the mood and back to our old-style chatting way. Then, we walked to The Gardens for sightseeing. Around 5.30 p. m., Alvin left us to go to Bukit Jalil to meet his friend.

En route, we met up with YSY, and thus KTS, YSY and I went to Paddington House of Pancakes. Soon later, CSH, EPX and TYP met up with us and had our tea break. We snapped a few pictures there too. (The above picture.) Soon afterwards, KTS needed to go back home since his sister was coming to fetch him. We followed him until the main entrance of The Gardens Hotel to bid farewell.

Then, the five of us went to Carrefour to have our shopping before leaving the place at 9 p. m.. We boarded the commuter to return to Serdang, and we reached circa 30 minutes later. Since some of us were hungry, we went to Sri Kembangan 8 to have Roti Michael Jackson. By 11 p. m., we fetched CSH back to her Kolej before returning to Old Flat.

It was indeed a fun, yet exhausting outing.

Sigh!!!

This morning, I woke up at 7 a. m. and went for a jog with some of my course-mates. Since I didn't have lecture until 2 p. m., I spent my times after jogging by reading news from The Star Online, playing Facebook, viewing updates from Lowyat forum, doing revision for my afternoon lecture as well as analyzing my second journal given by my FYP supervisor.

This afternoon, I went to the lecture room - DK 9 and haplessly, I've been assigned to Group 2 by Dr. Zarina Bibi. WTF! Thus, I have to walk to DK B and consequently I was late. The reason for this sudden assignment was because Group 1 had too many students, so Dr. Zarina Bibi divided the students into two groups. Group 2 will be taught by Dr. Zainiddin. Whatever he teaches, the level of the lessons will turn to a whole new different level of understanding! (That's what my ''senpai'' told me and it's true-.-) Sigh... Unfortunately, I have to bear with him in two subjects - MTH 3104 and MTH 3302 - for this whole semester! Sigh... I don't want to walk all the way through from Old Flat to DK B too! It's just too far! Sigh...

Anyway, I wish I could continue lamenting, but I couldn't. I need to attend another lecture at 8 p. m. later. So, I'll stop my lament here. Sigh!!!!!!

Karaoke

Today, I went to Jusco Balakong (Cheras Selatan) and sang karaoke with Keng Tia, Ming Jie, Kennt, Wei Kiat and Ordrez. We sang Chinese songs, English songs as well as South African song (FIFA theme song). Lolz.. The 3-hour singing ended at 1 p.m., and we decided to go window shopping. Around 4 p. m., we went home. Thanks to Kennt for the fetch. I'm very glad to meet new friends - Wei Kiat and Ordrez - friends of Kennt. I've added them in my Facebook! ^^ It was indeed fun!

Mon. Tue. Wed. Thu. Fri.

On Monday 6 p.m., my friends and I went to have a steamboat buffet in Sri Serdang to celebrate Joey's 22nd birthday. It was a great gathering cum celebration even though there was no cake for her since she chose steamboat buffet over birthday cake.

On Tuesday, we attended our classes as usual, but there was this subject - Public Speaking where the lecturer was quite a humorous and happy-go-lucky person. However, in my opinion, the 3-hour lecture (8 - 11 p.m.) was just too tiresome and boring. Perhaps, there was nothing much to do during the first lecture. Hopefully, the next one will be an interesting and enjoyable one. *Fingers crossed!*

On Wednesday, that's yesterday, it was a very boring day to me. I didn't have the mood to do anything after the lectures ended at noon. I went back to Old Flat and watched a drama called "Suspects in Love", but I didn't even finish watching the first episode until now! I wonder why. Perhaps I'm mentally drained and still not getting used to study life after having a circa 3-month holiday.

Today is Thursday, and I don't have any lecture class to attend; thus I'm very free today! Yeah!!!! WTB told me he will be coming to find me to go for a jog this evening. I'm looking forward to it!

Tomorrow (Friday) 10 a.m., I need to find my Supervisor to attend his class to learn about Runge-Kutta Nystrom method together with my coursemate, a Masters student and a PhD student! I hope everything will be okay, and I could manage to change this time slot to Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. I don't want any lectures on Thursdays through Sundays! *Fingers crossed!*

New Semester Starts!

Today is the first day of the new semester. As expected, I saw a lot of first-year undergraduates wearing formal attires around the campus. Back in my time, I was one of them too! How embarrassing to recall my experience.

I met a lot of my course-mates and chatted with some of them. Lecture started at 8 a.m. and ended early at 10.15 a.m. since MTH3602 lecturer was not around. So, TFC and I went to Mathematics Department to meet up with our supervisor. Since there were a lot of first-year students inside his office, we chose to wait outside. An hour later, he left his office, and we approached him by telling him our intention. Anyway, he told us to consult him at 3 p.m., that is 2 hours and 10 minutes later.

Hopefully, he would be lenient, and I could have a nice experience for this Final Year Project.

i-city

I've just gone to i-city today. It was fun to be around with my friends - TKT, LSS, YSY, KKF and TLY.

Firstly, we went to carpool KKF and TLY in Sri Petaling at 7 p.m., and then we headed to our destination. At first glance, it's a tourist spot illuminated by colourful lights in the form of flora and fauna. When we reached there, it was drizzling. So, we went to have our dinner in Gasoline while waiting for the rain to stop. After dinner, we went for sight-seeing around the place - snapping pictures with friends cum admiring the scenery.

It wouldn't be fun if I were to go there alone, but with the presence of my friends, it made a whole different atmosphere. At 12 p.m., we returned home.

Final Year, First Semester - The First Day in Old Flat

Woke up at 8.30 a.m., I saw my mom preparing some food for me to bring to UPM, I went to have my shower, did my final packing, had my breakfast - Curry Wanton Noodle, prayed at the altar, waited for my father to fetch me and took off to PMJ's house to get some stuffs from her mother before leaving Teluk Intan at 10 a.m..

Circa 3 hours later, we reached Old Flat - my current hostel, outside of UPM. My dad and I took the luggage and went up to 8B. TKT wasn't around, when he was supposed to have reached few days earlier before me. I went into my room, and I was shocked to see the fan wasn't repaired! It was supposed to be repaired before we get back. What did you do during this whole semester break, house owner (aka Pig)?! I was furious, yet I could do nothing. Also, I was a little shocked to see the mess in my room. As if it was unoccupied for years. Anyway, I bothered not. I took those unwanted clothes, old mattress and bed sheet, unwanted shoes and other stuffs back home through my dad. After that, my dad went home.

I started cleaning up my room - first, boiled drinking water, put my roommate's luggage to a side, took out the beds to the living-room, put up the drawers back to the cloth container and cleaned the dusty windows, my study table, the floor, the wall as well as the door. After that, Pig came with his wife (aka Sow) telling me about the maintenance of the fan. Advising me not to turn to speed 5 because it will make the fan hot and thus short-circuited. He told me that it couldn't be helped if the weather is hot; just bear with it. WTF was that?! If turning to speed 5 will cause such a mishap, why the manufacturers went through the trouble to make that? Also, if so, all my fans in my house should have already short-circuited for a million times! That Pig kept on lecturing me until the electrician came. Since I couldn't continue cleaning my room, I cleaned the dirty kitchen. Soon, I realized that foreigner was a noob in handling the fan! Consequently, Pig fired him. Pig told me he would be back a day or two with another electrician to deal with the maintenance and left with Sow.

Okay, since they had gone, I continued cleaning my room. I mopped the floor, from room to room and finally the kitchen. Out of the blue, Pig and Sow came with another electrician and continued with the maintenance. "Oh, GREAT! I need to clean up everything again later!" I yelled in my heart furiously. I didn't bother them and continued cleaning the toilet. Then, I went to the living-room, sent my two-page complaints to CCY, HJE and KKH via text message. After a while, I noticed someone was in 19C. So, I took my key and went to 19C. KWC was there! I went in and we chatted until 5.30 p.m., that was after the Pig and Sow went home.

I continued cleaning my room and soon after, PSY phoned me - asking about the fans and her condition of her room. When everything was done, I had my bath. Then, I washed all my clothes which were kept here because there was a pungent smell. Perhaps it was due to bad air circulation inside the cloth container. Then, TKT came back, and I had my dinner. After that, TMJ asked me if I would like to have dinner via Facebook. I told him I've had my dinner. So, he asked me if I wanted to go out for a drink. Thus, I went out with him, KKF, LSS and TKT to South City Plaza's vicinity.

Then, we came back to Old Flat and I started blogging until now (2 posts for today). After posting this up, I'm going to watch my long-awaited drama - Ghost Writer. Good night!

A Day Before Leaving for UPM

Yesterday was my last day staying in my hometown (not forever la-.-..) before leaving for UPM.

In the morning, I went for a haircut, but the hairstylist was not available. So, I went to another saloon, which I've never been before. After that, I went to my father's grocery shop and had my breakfast with my mother, godmother and aunt in a stall next to my father's shop.

Then, when I went home, I saw HJE's text message: "jen jen,wanna eat bor?". I replied: "Paiseh.. Just reached home. Ady makan with yi ma gu che.. O.o i dun mind going yumcha if u insist. Lolz". He replied: "yeah,i go2 pick u up nw,". Therefore, within minutes, he arrived. There were LHS and SJS inside the car too. We went to Lana Coffee House (or is it Tea House? never mind-.-..), and I ordered my beverage while the others had their lunch. That was my first time during this semester break I had a complete Hokkien conversation in a gathering. It's fun!

Then, I went home. I surfed the net and my cousin came to my house seeking guidance in some Math topics. Then, as usual, I had my work out, bath and dinner. At 9 p.m., I went to my brother's house and then went to Gluton's Square to have my supper while dinner for my brother. It's my sis-in-law's treat! This was because I helped her translated her Bahasa Malaysia script to English. It was about MC-ing on an Australian Musical Tour event. Thanks for the treat!

Soon after, I went home, watched drama and surfed the net. Then, KTS, NWX and I chatted in MSN for quite some time, while I was busy packing some stuffs for the next day's journey. Then, I chatted with PMJ and asked her about her new relationship. She too asked my help to bring some stuffs from her house to UPM for her. After that, I had my slumber. I wonder how long did I take to fall asleep. Around 30 minutes perhaps.

An Okay Gathering

Few hours ago, I went to Georgetown White Coffee, Teluk Intan for gathering with my few of hometown buddies - LCO, KSH, KCK, KKH, HHL, LHS, NSM, TXY and LQt .

Before that, I was thinking whether I should attend the event or not. I expressed myself to NWX, SCS and KTS in Facebook message about this matter too. I told them I didn't feel like going because of different mental wavelengths that would make me isolated from others. I guess now I realized why people tend to divide their circle of friends into good, best, hi-bye and many other types of friends.

Nevertheless, I decided to call HHL and ask her if she would attend the gathering. She said okay. Thus, I went too. At 9 p.m., HHL came to fetch me, but she told me she didn't want to go. She only came to fetch me. I was like "Oh my God. What the .....". Though, NSM called her and asked her to go; so she went. (thanks NSM!! ^^)

Anyway, when we reached there, I felt like as if I were a scarecrow. This was expected from me, but my situation didn't stay long, thanks to my soft skill. (hehehe...) I joined into their conversation, but frankly speaking, it wasn't enjoyable.

Around 11 p.m., we snapped a few pictures and went home.

張芸京 (Chang Yun-jing)

Well, I've just finished watching a drama via pps, and thus I've nothing to do in the evening. I surfed the net and eventually came to Youtube. I searched for 超級星光大道 (One Million Star), and then I came across 超級偶像 (Super Idol) - Year 2008. Both are televised singing competitions in Taiwan.

I listened to a couple of songs, and finally there was this one contestant grasped my attention - 張芸京 (Chang Yun-jing). She is a handsome tomboy who sings uniquely. I bet you could hardly tell that she is a girl even when she were to talk with you! Her Chinese songs are great, but not English because the pronunciation is awful. Anyway, I soon realized that 黑裙子 (Black Skirt) which is one of my favourite songs is actually her song! Well, she is crowned as the champion of Super Idol (First Season). She deserved it!

Yesternight, Tonight, Tomorrow Night

Yesternight, there was a gathering. Everyone was late. When we reached Old Town, we changed our location to AL-Fresco since we had been holding the same event at either Old Town or McD, and we are sick of those two places. We enjoyed our Singles' Gathering (that's the name we gave - CCY, KKH, NSM, HHL, LHS and I).

Tonight, my family together with my maternal grandmother went out to Sechuan Restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday in advance which falls tomorrow. The "kam hiong" crabs were okay for me as I'm not a crab-lover, but through my brother who is a crab-fanatic said it's "tok kong" (superbly delicious).

Tomorrow night, my friends and I will be going to celebrate CCY's birthday in Secret Recipe at 8 p.m.. I hope everything will go fine, and he won't read this post until then. (Lolx..)
